On a night in which I headed out to Smokies Park to see John Smoltz pitch, I actually ended up doing pretty well with the Cubs’ top prospect Tyler Colvin. With all the hoopla surrounding the John Smoltz appearance, I didn’t figure it would be easy to get any autographs over by the Braves side, so…at first headed over to the Smokies’ dugout to try and get Colvin. Everything worked out well. After he had finished stretching, he came back by the dugout and signed multiples for us.
